TOWNSHIP OF STURGEON LAKE - PINE COUNTY - STATE OF MINNESOTA

ORDINANCE NO. 925 

AN ORDINANCE DECLARING NONCOMPLIANT BIOSOLIDS APPLICATION A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND PROVIDING FOR ENFORCEMENT, ABATEMENT, AND COST RECOVERY 

The Town Board of Sturgeon Lake Township will be reviewing an ordinance entitled "An Ordinance Declaring Noncompliant Biosolids Application, A Public Nuisance And Providing For Enforcement, Abatement, And Cost Recovery." This ordinance requires the incorporation of biosolids into the land within 48 hours of its application to such land, requires compliance with MPCA standards, declares it a nuisance to violate the ordinance and provides for penalties upon violation. 

A copy of all the entire zoning ordinance is available at the Moose Lake public library, or may be obtained by contacting the Township Clerk, Nedene Kuhlman, at 218-380-3743. 

The Township will be reviewing this ordinance at the September 11th, 2025, Regular Monthly Meeting.

This notice will be posted at the Sturgeon Lake Township Hall, US Post Office in the City of Sturgeon Lake, the Moose Lake Public Library and on the Township's Website.
